Yuanjie (Tukey) Tu, PhD
Research scientist, transportation researcher, and community advocate. An adventurous soul who was raised in a small town in Jiangxi, China, studied in Shanghai, Beijing, and Shenzhen, and currently lives in Seattle, US.
I completed my PhD in Transportation Engineering at University of Washington, where I focused on modeling sustainable travel behaviors with deep learning and statistic models. Additionally, I'm a strong advocate for data visualization techniques that support effective communication and exploration. Check out my portfolio here.
In my free time, I like to build communities, go on hikes/backpacking trips with friends, play piano, draw, and read.
I am an incoming research scientist at Meta! You can find my CV and Resume here.
